Pull Starters

There are 2 sizes of pull starters, small and large frame.
Small frame measures 1.065" or 27mm between the mounting holes
Large frame measures 1.220" or 31mm between the mounting holes

There are 2 sizes of one way bearings 11 and 14 mm

There are 2 lenghts of rubber standoffs for the handle 1.15" and 1.5"

These will fit most Japanese made engines.

Shuwa was the biggest private lable engine producer in Japan. If you own a "Made in Japan" engine that was not made by OS, Enya, Saito, or YS it was probably made by Shuwa Industry.

Shuwa private labled or made engines for HPI, Yokomo, Fantom Racing FR, Kyosho, Tamiya, Air Supply AS, Team Infinity, Drake, Acme, Werks, Orion, Hot Bodies, and others.

Small Frame
Hole spacing is 1.065" or 27mm

Part Number S21-001
for all small .05 engines that use 11mm hex one way bearing

Part Number S21-002 for .12 - .28 engines
14mm hex on one way bearing
1.15" rubber tube spacer between pull handle and starter body.

Part Number S21-003 for .12 - .28 engines
14mm hex on one way bearing,
This is the same as S20-002 except
1.5" rubber tube spacer between pull handle and starter body.

Part Number S21-004 for .12 - .28 engines
This is the same as S20-003 except
11mm hex on one way bearing,
1.5" rubber tube spacer between pull handle and starter body.

Large Frame
